Am I going to be Disapointed Again?

I have been looking for a great RVR/PVP game that did not look at PVP as an after thought to PVE.   Unfortunately I have left DAoC many years ago, and have thought about returning.  I have played many of the other major mmo's that followed while nothing has really stuck with me.

I have not been impressed with the looks of the toons as of now, however that has never been a big issue for not purchasing. I am looking for more about substance.

What is the biggest aspect to this game in your opinion that will attract a causal pvp'er like myself?
