Don't hate because you didn't make beta

in Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning

Yes, I'm in.

But, it's not about just playing to enjoy.

Beta testers agreed to do certain things that would make a hyped-up fan shy away  that wasn't dedicated.

Yes, I'm a CE pre-order but many  didn't get in.

Not sure if  I got lucky or system reqs were good on my dxdiag.

Anyways I applied at warrhammer's site a couple of times since I bought a new rig...but I pre-ordered CE early too.

I'm usually the one that doesn't get in major ones.

I'm a big fan of this website and other games like Wow , AOC and non-mmo FSX.

In short...I am thankful everyday that I test Warhammer.

    Personaly i dont care about beta...

    I bought CE because i love warhammer, and i dont mind waiting for the release date.

     

    If you buy CE because of the beta access, then your stupid imho.

    When i bought / pre-ordered Warhammer....never did i read that I would be in Beta.

    Because it wasn't there.

    3 days early before release yeah.

    I really don't get all the fuzz about being in a Beta.

    I have been in many MMO beta's before. I did it for the testing and trying to help making the game better for launch. And frankly I found it quite fun trying to find as many bugs as possible. But that's just me lol.

    So many people fail to realise what Beta is all about (OP included). There is no real fun at all being in a Beta.

    Servers go down often, either due to problems or due to patching. Lot of bugs you run into and need to report (unfortunately hardly any of the CBT's actually reports and are just in for the free play).

    What most also forget. At the end ALL characters get wiped! And seriously, you don't want to know how many players don't seem to get this and flood the beta forums with posts if they are allowed to keep their character after beta *pretty please* up to the real morons that become even angry and rant the forums in outrage, because their Beta character gets wiped at the end!

    OP, you realize beta testing has been going on for a long time now, and the game is set to launch in a little over a month? Being in is cool and all and it's great if you are bug reporting, but really. By now it's all been done before and it's going to go live with CE 'closed beta' player feedback or not. The CE beta phase really is nothing more than a stress test of the 'open beta' stress test.
