Can there possibly be a relation? Is there a way to scientifically prove it?

415k is from June 30. And it includes free accounts (those with their first 30 days). No other MMORPG company uses trial accounts and players in their first 30 days in their subscriber numbers... Funcom has to be deceptive. Not that it worked, their stock is tanking today... now at a 3 year low.
There is no possible way the 415k number for August is correct. The mass exodus from AoC was at its peak in July when my server turned into a ghost town and most of my friends quit.
