If you dont like what you read, then go away. Simple.. learn to swith channel, turn off your monitor, return to AoC and your life in hope.. do it, but leave us alone, cos we have the right to have a place to get our frustration out..
Anyone who actually likes Age of Failnan more than WoW deserves to get ripped off by Funcom. Better enjoy that game now, cuz it's gonna get shut down
I think that much of the crap flying all over the net about FC they caused themselves. Instead of alowing it on their own forum, where they can keep an eye on it, respond to it and in the end of all contain it, they ridiculously censor their own forums which in turn causes people to take their frustration elsewhere, thus spreading it all over the net.
I'm amazed by some of the downright idiotic decisions they did - like they havent ran a business before.
To the OP, forums can not cause hate for the good product, however they can (and rightfully so) do damage to a bad product and fradulent business practice. If FC had a solid game out and behaved a little bit more like they need their customers, they wouldn't get all the crap they are getting.
Kinda like if you go to a restaurant and the waitress drops a plate infront of you spilling soup over your shirt . Wether you go to that restaurant again or getting up and leaving and telling all your friends about it, is wether that same waitress, or the manager comes and tells you "wtf are you complaining for, eat or gtfo" or "We're terribly sorry sir, it was an accident, the wine you are drinking is on the house" - that is called good customer relations and FC has none of it.
Frustration because a game failed you?.. Serious you should think this over and go pick some flowers with warmaker.
Same goes for you I have ever right to post here and sadly you have to but thats a different story. Maybe you all Doomsayers should meet up and find a nice little place where you can all hug and cry all day that Funcom failed you and you have nothing else to do now,

If you still thinks you can induce and enlighten us, then I will listen. Its not perfect but what mmo was on release. There is alot of good things in game and some bad its not like the game is totaly unplayable. I enjoy playing it atm if I dident I wouldent be here.

PPL should never stop to critisise how Funcom handled and is still handeling issues in AOC. AOC is the best example to date how NOT to launch MMO. Its based on lies, preventing freedom of speech, broken game and promises. Every single gamer that wants to enjoy any games in the future should be furious and keep up the negative talk about this game as long as possible. Because thats the only way that devs of future games realise that this is NOT acceptable when it comes to MMO gaming.
So - instead of asking ppl to stop it - every single gamer that cares about future of gaming should be asking ppl to keep critisising the game and the continued lies that Funcom stands for.
Just to proof that we need to go on - Funcom is aparently showing DX10 feature behind closed doors on the 20th... Feature that was said to be in at launch.

Its not perfect but what mmo was on release. There is alot of good things in game and some bad its not like the game is totaly unplayable. I enjoy playing it atm if I dident I wouldent be here.
But if it's in worse condition than a game released 4 years ago, isn't that a step in the wrong direction? To me, game development and technology have improved leaps and bounds in the last 4 years, to have a game that has more bugs, less content and truck loads of zoning compared to one released years ago is really bad.
I 've played AOC form release. As stated by someone else here. AOC is awesome levels 1-40 but beond that its total crap.
Also as you level past 40 you start running out of zones to you eventually get down to 1 zone where you got to level 70-80 1 small zone and all of the level 80 people have nothing better to do then kill you. Since thier is no end game content.
Level 1-40 you have many zones to go level in.
I was thinking with How Good Funcom did with anarchy-online that AOC would be just as good or even better
Sadly I was mistaken. I Will be trying Warhammer and give funcom 4-6 months and then go see how Conan is doing then.
Unless Warhammer is to fun.
AOC could of been a great game if Funcom keept its promises. It can still be a great game but thats got alot of work to be done before it will be.
If it doens't totaly flop.

As much as you are right in this statement you are also wrong, everything on a forum is based upon personal exeperiences inside a game..
I have a good time inside the game, apperantly you are not..Therefor we write about these 2 sides in the forums..
In this case the good posts drown in all the ugly stuff, but I still like the game..You see the picture ?

You see the problem here is you like the game, others dont for whatever reason(myself included) What gives you the right to tell anyone not to post how they feel even if it s the same thing everytime. I ve noticed most of the bigtime fanbois have literally stopped posting because 1 they quit themselves and don t want to admit it or 2 are playing the game and not on the forums. I m not hugely outspoken on issues AOC has but i would never recommend the game to anyone and actually have talked some people out of buying it know personally. Why because i know they like some similar things to me. Oh well AOC is slowly dieing and theres not much you can do about it here or any other forums.
Well we have to take a stance on this horrible mess of a game. If we keep pointing out the flaws and cruel injustices by those running the game, it may help to either put an end to Age of Conan as an example to future game developers, or motivate them to give the players enough overhauling of the game and additions to make it playable. All the PR absolute BS that the game is running as intended and has nothing wrong with it but a lack of drunken bar brawls needs to be snuffed out.
