mounts?

in Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning

ive seen videos about mounts in warhamer but havnt really gotten to far into the site so i was wonderin if any1 knew if they had it up on the site befor i waste a few hours lookiin for somthin

only Sixty-five million three hundred and forty thousand two hundred and eighty five boars!!

    Empire, High Elf = Horse (Different kind and style for each)

    Dwarf = Mechanical Mount

    Chaos = Chaos Mutated Horse

    Dark Elf = Cold One

    Orc = Boar

    Goblin = Wolf

    well magus just gets a different disk not a horse or mutated mount or w/e

    all the other mounts are ok... but dwarves riding mechanical mounts?.... did they actually read the lore?

    Yes, GW told them that beer powered carts where a no go, but personal gyrocopters where ok.

    Don't know, but it does look cool. Its a kind of gyro-coptor-backpack-thingy. When a dwarf uses it his feet are about half an inch off the ground going forward, and when he goes backward he gets dragged with his heels bumping over the cobble stones LOL

    Posting incorrect info makes my post count go up for corrections...darn you!!

     

    GW did not say no-go to the beer powered cart, if they were against it then it never would have made it to our ears/eyes like it did.  The problem was no one liked it and it looked stupid.  What GW was 100% against was organic mounts (so no animals).  The new gyro-copter idea was made so that Dwarfs would actually look semi-cool while riding their mounts.  More info should be coming soon (from other testers) when the NDA drops next week (MBJ said so on the WHA forums).

     

    Also if you search the WAR forums on this site, you'll come across a thread about the mounts in WAR.  In that thread, there is a guy that posted the concept art for each race's mount (minus the Magus).
