Closed v Open Beta

Question: (may be dumb)

I'm currently in Closed Beta.  I have ordered the CE War.  I am entering my open beta code into my account and it is giving me a choice to create new account or upgrade current account.  If I upgrade the current account, do I lose access to the closed beta?

    No but tecniquely you dont need to upgrade either as a CB tester that account is active for all tiers closed beta the pw and ob.

     Adding it will not demote ur CB status.

    Thanks, also was able to enter the early start and extra item codes into my account.  And yes I still have access to closed beta.
