Anyone have excessive info on Magus?

Looking for first hand exp with playing the Magus or against the Magus. This class looks very appealing to me and I want to decide before i start the game. I will try most classes in the preview weekend i assure you but just as much info on the class you all can give would be sweet.

Right now, they are fairly broken. I see amazing potential, especially as a defensive/point camping class. They aren't the best at pick up and go. Stationary ranged pets can get annoying and at times seem worthless ( mostly at lower levels). I'm sure once they balance it out and upgrade the standard damage scale it will be a good class. Once Engineers and Magus are able to plant turrets/pets with a radial drop instead of on character location, it will be 100% better, and to be honest very fun to just drop load 2-3 pets onto an enemy player.
