Obama's Arrogance in Dissing Hillary Clinton Will Lose Him The Election

jonawikijonawiki Member UncommonPosts: 41

As a Hillary supporter, I'm furious that Obama will not pick Billary as his VP. Indepedents and right wing democrats will NOT vote for Obama + whoever. They want and trust Billary.  When McCain wins, I will weep for America...  :(

I tend to agree that the best thing Obama could do for his camp would be to pick up Hillary.  I don't think he has dissed her.  Heck, I hear the Clintons are to be a major part of the democratic convention.

The only problem with Hillary is the politics as usual that she represents.  Obama is rewriting the way Washington works ......... remember?  He isn't gonna have time to teach an old dog new tricks once he reveals his big elaborate plan to change the way the US government is gonna work.

He does have a plan doesn't he ...... surely he's told someone about it.

This will ultimately give us another Republican for Pres again because of this elitist asshole called Obama. He is so stupid now that I think about it he is a George in disguise.

Let it go already. Any Hillary supporter who now intends to vote for McCain has no identity and is voting in such a way purely out of spite. Will spite prevail? I think not. Hillary supporters will vote for Obama because there is no other candidate who more closely shares her platform.

Hillary would be a fine pick for VP. While picking her might be the best thing for his campaign, perhaps he thinks it wouldn't be the most cohesive for an administration. Who knows what will happen.

I'd take someone who is rich because they earned it over someone who is rich because of who their father was, or who their wife is anyday.

    From: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elitism

"Elitism is the belief or attitude that those individuals who are considered members of the elite — a select group of people with outstanding personal abilities, intellect, wealth, specialized training or experience, or other distinctive attributes — are those whose views on a matter are to be taken the most seriously or carry the most weight; whose views and/or actions are most likely to be constructive to society as a whole; or whose extraordinary skills, abilities or wisdom render them especially fit to govern."

Once again a good quality is warped to be something we are supposed to look down on. Has anyone seen the movie Idiocracy? Next you'll say Obama talks Faggy.

Looking from a far distance I see this election as WAR between young and old, white and color, poor and rich.

I think once great America we all respected needs more time to dream up all over again, maybe take 100 million more emigrants in then maybe new Obama can win.

Looking back for the past few years of wartime and paranoia Obama ryhmes to close to Osama. It's only one letter of difference, to close for my modest opinion.

Not white president it seems surreal at the moment. And I am NOT sure either that mother Nature can give America and the rest of the World much time.

John McCain has 8 (or was it 10?) houses and  wears 520$ loafers, yet Obama is the elitist.

Actually, just step back a second so you can have a good laugh.

Obama needs a VP candidate that is not one of the Washington insiders to continue his campaign for change, on the other hand he needs someone of experience to bolster his credentials.

I can't wait to see who this outsider is that has insider experience.

Methinks he has painted himself into a corner.......

im not so sure picking clinton would win it for him anyway. Yeah it brings in her supporters ( who most likely were voting for him anyway when it comes down to it, ) but it would cost them the independants who were behind him for his stance on change ( picking her means he has to abandon his entire platform to date) that would cost him alot of the swing voters which in reality decide an election anyway, so are one of if not THE most important group to win.  SO its possible the gain of taking her in wouldnt 100% help him overall.

LOL and McCain is old and forgetful. When he speaks it sounds like the old guy sitting in the corner at a retirement home mumbling to himself.

The fact that you refer to her as "Billiary" should prove why he wouldnt choose her, Hilairy clinton as VP would just move bill clitonb ack into the white house as she doesnt seem to have a single independant thought.

Might be a good reason Obama does not want a Clinton  around,  http://www.zpub.com/un/un-bc-body.html

If Obama selected Hillary as his VP I would no longer vote for him.  I don't know anyone who was an Obama supporter from the start who wants Hillary in office.  The only people who seem to be uppity about her needing to be VP in order to win were the people who were behind her in the beginning...the same people who were quite sure she was going to defeat Obama in the first place...not exactly people with a proven track record thus far of accuracy in their voting opinions.

Unfortunately, Hillary has repeatedly shown herself to be a politician in a very classic sense...saying one thing to one group, and saying the opposite to another, which wouldn't actually bother me too much if she ever said anything I agreed with to either side of a debate.

She has repeatedly shown herself to be anti-technology, anti-privacy, and pro-censorship (all in the guise of *THINK OF THE CHILDREN* ) .  While Obama has issues that concern me, I am significantly more comfortable with him than any of the alternatives, and I absolutely do not want to see her in office, as far as I'm concerned she's a moderate republican at best, which does nothing to impress me.

If I were Hillary, I wouldn't accept it. There was a lot of crap going on, not to mention the fact that Obama said he would not accept VP status if Hillary won. Obama and the media have done nothing but "diss" Hillary and McCain all along anyway.

If I was Hillary I would not either.  I would set myslef up for the next election.  Anyways don't think its Hillary for those who don't want her.  I heard something about the VP being reffered to as a "he" by Obama on the news yesterday.

Do you think that would cause Hillary supporters to think something is wrong with Obama then? If she declines it then people might get an idea that something is wrong and choose not to support Obama. Hillary supporters have strong mindsets that might incline them to not support him at all if shes not even accepting a VP position that most of her supporters would want. I think hes screwed if he does and screwed if he doesn't at this point in time. We will see though how right the analysts are on this, you know they all been saying the same thing about how Hillary supporters won't support Obama for such reasons.

I don't think we will ever know if she turned him down or he took her off his list (If she's not the vp that is).  I am inclined to think that if she is not the vp that she did turn him down.   Why? Because it is one of those things that is a damned if you do damned if you don't Like you mentioned.   I think the damned if you don't is far worse than the do personally.  All the change spew was used to beat Hillary for the nomination.  McCain will eat him alive if he uses it on a shared stage.

Edited to add:  Besides the fact that it seems pretty obvious that  Hillary still has a hunger for the main seat.  Not the side show. I think she is just waiting to pounce his ass next election if he is elected. Staying in the spotlight but saving the dirt for the next election.
