Is it much better than it was before? I am not sure if I should shell out 14.99 plus virtual tax. I am trying to find a decent space MMO but it won't be out for a while; sadly, sigh.

I guess it doesn't hurt to re-subscribe it otherwise I will regret it.

Well, it depends on when you last played it ;)  It's tremendously improved from launch, night and day different.  But over the past two months, there haven't been any significant changes because they have 'all hands on deck' for Game Update 6 (hopefully release in a few weeks).

Lots of threads on this topic you can read.

bottom line is yes.  It has improved a lot.  All of the big game killer type bugs are gone.  Game is stable and performs pretty good now.

Various game systems have been added like lfg system, brotherhoods, etc.  Lots of content was added all the way to lvl 50 raids and new quests.  More is coming in gu6.

Crafting & diplo have had stuff added to make them even better and more is being added.

Right now the game is what it really should have been at release.  Overall pretty solid, fun and complete.

There are still some bugs however so don't think it is perfect.  They seem to have a fair number of quest bugs that are irritating, I find I can swim through the world more often then I like.  Those are the main ones that come to mind.  There are some others that occasionally come up like looting issues in groups where you have to do /groupc to fix.  But overall none of these really impact my enjoyment of the game.

There are a lot of great quest lines and lots of great dungeons.  I'm playing my lvl 25 bard and have started a large quest line doing CIS which so far is a blast with a good group.  Groups are pretty easy on seradon which is nice also.  Biggest problem on seradon I've had recently is I'm starting to see competion for groups and dungeons.  It isn't bad but it is becoming rather common to see 1 or more other groups in dungeons.
