That's what I think of when I think of Warhammer, and that pains me, because after AoC failed me, even after I tried so hard to accept it, Warhammer remained my last shard of hope for the near future, however, I am not impressed with what I've seen.
honestly if you are not in the beta i can truly understand where you are coming from with you not being impressed with what you have seen.
if you are in beta and still feel so, email mytic, more so email a letter for paul barrnet (yes he does get the emails, or an intern reads them for him) and tell them why you are not impressed.
it has been know in beta that even if 10 people think something could be done better they will try and make it great.
Have you played it or are you just saying this from what you've seen? Not trying to flame you or anything in that vein, just trying to get your side of the story.
And if it is fromwhat you've seen I definitely understand where you are coming from, I had not interest in WAR until I actually played it.

I believe that, and I really hope this is the kind of attitude and love they have for WAR. Should make for a great game for years to come if it holds up.

Then you didn't look hard enough. Either that or you prefer pve or guild based pvp. Warhammer is all about the rvr baby.
If your looking for PVE go to WoW, Lord of the Rings online, or FFXI.
If your looking for Guild based pvp, I don't really know cause I've hated that style since Shadowbane even though I gave Age of Conan a try.
If your looking for RvR (Army vs Army) go to Dark Ages of Camelot or Warhammer Online.
Yes I think warhammer is great, but its got its problems also, not many though.

. Oh and OMG the footsteps!!!!! Please for the love of MMOS have an option to turn off footsteps!
All MMO's have grinds. If you don't like to Grind then MMO's are not for you.

that is the truth, you have to make the choise and just do RvR and make sure you do just RvR or just do PvE. it is like a marriage if one side whats a divorce and go its own way it can.
The combat is slow in order to give you time to retreat or use strategy. This is so you don't run in and get 1-2 shoted by a bright wizard's fireball. It does however feel slow at times, doesn't really bother me except during pve a little maybe. I plan to avoid pve as much as I can though...

i disagree with you, if you mean by combat as in your normal attack that is slow then that is but combat as in a fight is not, because you will be using mostly your AP abilities anyway, it recharges quickly but you will run out of it quickly if you do a spam fest but in 1~2 seconds you use a next low cost AP again.
What are we talking about when we are saying combat is slow?
The 2 sec global cooldown?
How long fights can last?
Our attack speed?
Or whats the problem???

No one knows some guys say it takes to long to kill someone. Someone else starts talking about the animations. Blar.
Anyway its all good this way all the wow asses can stay in wow if they want fast and unbalanced pvp.
