Two questions: ToK and Accounts

Two simple questions..

Is there an option to transfer info from the tome of knowledge to different characters? For example, if I reach max rank and fill up my beastiary/lore/whatever on one character then start a new one, will I be able to transfer any of that to my new character?

 

And, currently I have Open Beta, Head Start, Pre-order items, and Preview Weekend in my account. I downloaded the file from fileplanet. The download was 9gigs but nothing installed besides a small patch when I ran setup. So now all I need to do is wait for the patching to become available, patch it, and then play the preview weekend, then wait for OB, and then Headstart? (Sorry, I'm a dork with all this stuff )

    Tome question, no.

    Download question, what you downloaded is the "unzipped" version of the game (hence why it's so huge) basically you downloaded what you would get if you ran a setup.exe, I assume they couldnt be bothered doing this for a beta client and just gave you bandwidth hell.

    So yes, just run the warpatch.exe and you'll be good once the servers are up.


    EDIT: An addition to the tome question^ any titles / quests / achievements that you get with the CE version of the game will be account wide, so technically some parts are, however not in the way you're describing
