so will it be possible to test this game before release without being in the closed beta?? i dont want to buy it like i did with AoC and quit a week after starting

not without a preorder
The Preview Weekend test is beginning tomorrow morning. All Closed Beta testers, all Collector's Edition preorder purchasers and 50,000 Standard Edition preorder purchasers will be in this weekend's test.
On Septermber 7, the Open Beta starts. It is open to those who have preordered the game.
Retail release is on September 18.

There is no Free Trial Open Beta.
(Tip: This is not like AoC.)

If you don't want to buy a pre-order, just wait until the game has been out for a while and wait for the reviews to come in and see how players are reacting to the game. A Pre-order is the only way to get into Mythic's Open Beta.
