What does eve rule? if you are trying to say you think the game is good then why not say it?

Notice how he put 'was'. That is past tense, so therefore he now thinks EVE is actually a good game. ::::28::

    It rules EVE? That's great!

I haven't seen that big ol'hairball since the 60's. How is It? Has It's hair turned gray yet? Or has it gone entirely bald? I'd really hate to think of It getting one of those hair transplants and then having the rest of it's hair fall out.

I would have loved EVE, but I fell to a bad luck.  I joined a guild who accused me of stealing millions from their corp.  My EVE game name was tarnished with the ppl I group with for a month.  I do not know if the corp leader was trying to scam me, so they dont have to give me a ship, after a month of supplying their corp with free mining and hauling.  It could be an honest mistake too.  But I was Kill on Sight by my corp, and I did not even know about it.   I did not know why the corp kicked me out, and my ex-corp member were trying to PK me.   Fortunately after a long time of asking in shout, 1 of the ppl I group with explained to me what the corp leader told them.  The worst thing about it is, the corp leader told me it was a mistake and to go to this location so I can be invited back to the corp, and they tried to PK me when I believed them.  They tried convincing me with lies (that the shooting of my ship was a mistake, which I was able to escape) to get out of the starbase so they could PK.  I, in my ignorance believed them a few times until someone in the corp was good enough to whisper me what was going on.  My ships were stucked in that system, as everybody tries to kill me when I leave the base.   I understand that it is possible to get out of the system if I time it right, maybe at a time when most of the corp are sleeping.

I vowed never to play EVE again after that horrible experience.  I understand it could be my fault for not screening the corp I join.  I understand it is also my fault for falling for scams.  But that is what newbies are, they are not know-it-all when they start the game.

EVE is a PK mmorpg.  EVE is also a game that does not encourage ppl to play nice.  EVE's community is considered to be rampant with scammers, and newbies are easy targets for scamming.

If I had joined a different corp that would had have a 2 way beneficial relation where I help the corp, and the corp helps me, I would probably have played and enjoyed EVE for a very long time.

IMO, EVE is a great game with a horrible community as a whole.  If you are in a good corp, it is most likely that the community in that corp is nice.

Well I really like EVE. Since the fall of Earth and Beyond its really one of the only good spaceship mmos out there. I wish there was a bit more combat and story content to the game for those of us who are not hard core pvp. The best way to discribe the combat for those of you who have not played would be StarTrek bridge commander. You dont click to fire or anything like that, you dont even fly the ship around. Your the captin of the ship and you give the orders to your crew, its intresting but it wont keep you awake at 3:30 am.

like, maybe Im weird or something but I think this is how mmorpgs should be.

I dont want real life to be like this, but eves just a game and I want it to be at least exciting and and best complete f**king anarchy!!

I did the trial, it was my first MMORPG ever and I absolutely loved it. I had exams for the past month but tomorrow I'm gonna pay for it, cuz I really think it's worth it.

I like games where you have to use your brain, not just your mousebutton. Eve has a steep learningcurve, that is true (I think there's lots of stuff I don't know about yet) but that also keeps it interesting. If you want an easy game, there are hundreds of them. This game just demands a bit more patience and concentration.

I was amazed by the economy-system. I never thought people could create such a self-sustaining, dynamic market. Definitely one of EVE's good points. It gives you the opportunity to advance without action, and that gives a really realistic touch to the game.

Apart from that, great graphics, nice community imho (I was introduced to Eve by a friend, that's always fun of course) and a variety of possibilities to advance. It truly convinced me of the greatness of MMORPG's! image
