in Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning

I keep seeing people say "this will be ready for release" "this will be fixed before release" and I'd like to consolidate all those things into one place

 

Pathing will be fixed before release

Character animations will be improved before release

Graphics will be implemented high before release

Customization will increase before release

AI will be fixed before release

Bugs will be fixed before release

ORvR will be ready for release

Sounds will be improved before release

Implement Auction House before release.







Time to release: 3 weeks.



Am I missing something? xD

    About each of the topics you say need fixing be specific. Your generalizations are too broad.

    Seems like it's going to be the same old story, this game will release in a buggy state just like all the other mmo's that have ever released all the fanboi "it's still a beta lolz" will be heartbroken. Many of those issues won't be fixed before the game is released.

    I don't have to be, this is what other people are claiming is going to happen before release. Read the threads, each and every one of these has been said here at one point, I'm merely summarizing.

    Dude you must never have been in a beta before. The code that is out for preview weekend is not the final game if you will notice there is about 3 to 4 gig of data not in the current build prior to release there will be some major patches that will add to additional content and rev everyone up to the release build. I doubt that the Elders are even seeing the release build until a week before.  It was the same in WOW and LOTRO and every other game that’s come out in the last 5 years. All games have a 3 to 6 month shakedown at release if fact until AOC I think WOW had the worst 3 to 6 months with MAJOR issues. If you don't want to deal with minor patching for the first month or two then I would suggest you wait to play. It is unfortunate that AOC left such a bad taste in everyone’s mouth. The WAR build is pretty tight and sound for launch but it is not with out minor bugs.

    Meh, all MMO's have bugs. These arent that bad considering how much content there is going to be.

    lol that sounds very similiar before AoC was released, everyone said that things would change before release...I dont buy that statement anymore..nice try OP

    Whats wrong with Pathing? Its up to par with other MMO's.

    Character animations will be improved before release
    Agreed. Combat Animations could be a little better. Nothing redicules going on though.

    Graphics will be implemented high before release
    Its understandable that they arn't allowing us too many graphic adjustments IN BETA. But graphics are perfect at the level they are at now. IMO

    Customization will increase before release
    I would like to see this. Customization is up to par with games like AoC and WoW. But there no outrageous amount of customization options for your charecter. Do love the aspect of dying clothes/armor though.

    AI will be fixed before release
    AI is fine. Nothing to worry about. Sometimes I attack a NPC and it will run the opposite direction of me. But it's nothing that needs to be fixed before release IMO.

    Bugs will be fixed before release
    There will always be bugs. The ones i come across too often is getting stuck in the enviroment. I like to jump around alot, but jumping agian will get you unstuck. Agian, nothing that im worried about before release.

    ORvR will be ready for release
    It will? I bet we will see Open RvR in open beta.
    Sounds will be improved before release
    Sounds are up to par.

    Implement Auction House before release.



    Havn't even though about this yet. Will there even be a AH in WAR?



    Time to release: 3 weeks.
