The LotRO epic quests of Volume 1

For those who have completed/ nearly completed all 14 books of the epic quests, what did you think of them?

Personally i thought they were great however i thought the storyline was abit hard to follow and maybe there should have been more quests that involved the fellowship.

The instance and the group quests where on the whole very enjoyable but there were too many quests that involved running back and forth to talk to people which got annoying.  

Do you agree or disagree with this?

There is a little too much "ping pong" in some of the book quests but I found them very enjoyable - Especially Books 12, 13 and 14.

The story is interesting because it covers alot of what is going on "behind the scenes" while Frodo and Co are preparing to start their journey as the Fellowship.

Can't wait for MoM

Some deeds that I had left on my Hunter and finishing off Forochel and Evendim.

After that I still have book 14 to do on my Minstrel and some deeds as well.

As well, helping Kin members etc (which takes up quite a bit of time)

Should all be done in time for MoM

Leveling a alt one or two hours a night and on my main I am finishing up some deeds and working on reputation. Also helping out the kinship whenever and however I can. Get into a good kinship and you will always have something to do and someone to do it with.

I spend too much time helping folks in my KS on lower level FS quests and doing the high end 6 mans (with a bit of PvP and raiding thrown in), I am only up to book ten on my main so far.  Assuming I lived in some fantasy land where I had done book 14, I expect I'd be helping my KS on the high end 6 mans. book quests, and maybe doing some rep grinds on the side.  

Oh wait, that just what I'm doing now.

In any case, agree with other posters.  Join a good KS and you will never run out of content.  Even if you are the selfish type, you can earn some good stuff by helping lower levels do book quests. 

And at the high end, turbine keeps adding new 6 man content.  I am really into hard small party challenges, and the ringlore quests are among the most challenging 6 mans I've ever tried in an MMO.  On my server only one guild has been able to beat the 3rd one so far, and they haven't been able to do it twice .
