Weapon Effects

Just wondering, will swords, axes, and many other weapons have visual effects like flames coming off a fire sword, or acid dripping on the ground from an acid axe like in NWN? If not, then will the certain type of damage just show when the enemy is hit, like ice on the enemy when it gets hit from an ice sword?

The fire thing is in for sure. The ice I think shows like a mist or something resenating from the weapon in question. Acid I am not too sure of, but that would be pretty awesome for a poison effect.

I know they have plans for glowing/flaming weapons, never heard the acid one before tho.

What would be cool, too, would be if they had a sword of vampirism that glows red and everytime the enemy is hit, it drains some of thier hp and transfers it back to the holder of the weapon, or just drains thier hp over time. Just another weapon thought from the many of them in my head.

I haven't seen any with any visuals like glows yet, however there are some very good looking weapons. They do however have visuals for procs, i've got a nice lightning bolt on a sword at the moment.
