I want a game where the quests are fun. I want a game with awesome places to explore. I want a game with exciting combat. I want a game where I can choose to PVE one day and PVP another day if I want to. I want a game with dungeons to crawl around in and solve forgotten mysteries. I want a game with good graphics. I want a game with unique towns to explore. I want a game with adventure. I want a game with customization. I want a game with a big or close playerbase.
What MMORPG should I play that fits the description above the best?

Wow, you're asking for a lot. From what I can tell you might want to try Star Wars Galaxies (they have a free 14 day trial at http://starwarsgalaxies.station.sony.com/ through the free gamespot). Or you could try Dark Ages of Camelot ( they to have a free trial at http://www.darkageofcamelot.com/) These seem to have some but not all of what you're looking for ( I would go with SWG). I dont think any game has everything you are looking for.
Sorry, there is no game close to being anything like you want...try again in another 10 years .

Id say wait for WoW or Guild Wars. Those 2 sound like what you are looking for. SWG has some of what you are looking for as well so thats something you could play while you wait for those 2.
No mmorpg does that
But I heard DisneyWOrld is the next best thing from Heaven

Disneyworld sucks. I was severely disappointed.
Universal Studio's Islands of Adventure on the other hand was awesome.
There are games in development that have some of those qualities, but none of them have all yet.
Try Tabula Rasa (everything except the exploring/unique towns, they only have one super-town/hub so far)
D&D Online (Everything except big playerbase and pvp is not confirmed yet)
Gratz, you have just described what 99% of us are searching for in a MMORPG for months/years.

Sadly, you're mostly describing EverQuest w/ the expansions (though the PvP isn't really there on most servers) or DAoC (which is extremely broken but has most of what you are looking for). You're certainly NOT describing Star Wars Galaxies (no interesting dungeons or secrets, though they do have a few theme parks), Shadowbane (All PvP after newbie levels), or Anarchy Online (most of the areas are empty unless you are in the Shadowlands, though the new Alien Invasion Expansion may change things).
