Just a few lazy questions...

Without expending to much energy, and relying heavily on the knowledge of the community, I'd like to ask a few questions.  also, if others want to ask questions, please feel free to and we'll see if others can answer them.

 

I have been in beta for quite some time.  WAR beta though was handled quite differently than most betas and since late last year was retooled to focus on certain areas/content.  Because of that, I wasnt as involved as I should have been, nor did I look for the answers to the questions I pose.

 

First, is there an ingame mail system?  Early on, I have seen no sign of postal abilities.

Second, I read that they are working on the Auction system.  Has anyone read whether or not it will be in by launch? 

Third, does anyone know for a fact that the graphics are set at a lower level than will be available at launch?  To the contrary, a few weeks back I was concerned about this and posted on the beta forums asking this question.  I was told that the graphics we see now are the graphics we will see at launch.  This was said by Spike_Mythic. (sp).  Im hoping things have changed a bit as having only one option in settings for graphics is WAY behind par for today's MMOs.

1. Mail is in the game and working.

2. Auction House NPC's are in game and placeholder interface was there. Not final yet.

3. Graphics have improved a lot. Global lightning and dynamic lights are in. The only thing that is missing and still makes the game look a bit artificial is the baked shadows. That is however just a minor issue of running the shadow pass on the levels before release.

What Taus said but to add, the UI lets you select HIGH but its the same as balanced so yet another place holder along with the CUSTOM which is among the list of UI features that are placeholders.  Starting to get a little late in the game to be holding back features if they want them tested before launch.
