hey i really think my router is going i have a new dell laptop (studio 15) and im getting lag playin WC3 is there anyway i can check to see if my router is going
i have a 10 year old linksys model befw1154
also if you believe it is can you recommend a new one
Plug your PC directly into the cable modem and see if performance improves, if it doesn't it your connection so you'll need to call out the cable company. Otherwise it's you router.

It may be I have the exact same router and I've been questioning it for awhile now and I may have to upgrade.
I doubt its your router. Its probably something with your laptop. Are you using it on wireless? I still have a modem from 1989 that works.
It could be your cable modem, try a power reset and see if that clears it up. I used to have the problem often on mine when I had cable.
yea i did that a few times last night and the internet would not come back.
i did my speed test today and my results were DL-1025ms UL-1793ms ping-15ms
is that slow
