The whole thing was actually one huge report that took me many many hours to type up. It was 35 pages long in Word. Rather than force any of you to read through 35 pages in one sitting we broke it down and spread it out over a couple days. Plus this keeps "visitors" from outside the site visiting the site for 5 days instead of just the one. More traffic always good.

Well look at it a little differently. Would you call my posts a "quest"? I am hardly campaigning. And my views are restricted to this site in relatively few posts.
Now if I went to the EQ2 site and every fansite lobbying for a "petition" or other objective measures, then you can call it a quest. Else it is just my humble opinions on this website.

I enjoyed the second part immensely as well. Hearing, erm reading, about the magic was something I had wanted to know about for a long, long time now. Nearly all of the characters I play are casters, or can at least use magic, save one, and after reading about all the different caster classes, I just had no idea what I would play and even though I am still not sure, I do know a priestess of some sort will be my character. Nothing new right away. I always play healers in every game I play... I like to help people.
But yes, I digress, thank you so much for that interview, as well. I cannot wait to read the rest.

Just read part 3 about the whole Artisan and crafting process. Good job once again! Looks like EQII might get rid of that whole system of click 2-3 buttons and now you have an item. Sounds like it might make it more interesting (or tedious to mass alot of certain item, we'll have to see) and I hope to see it work. One thing that I liked about the whole system is how it is so closely tied to your adventurer class without taking away from your skills and abilities there. The other thing that intrigued me was the Artisan quest example where you could only use a rare metal deep inside of a high-level volcano. More stuff like that will make crafting a much more interesting process then in most games.

Aye, it has to be my favorite aspect of the game by far becuase I'm a hardcore crafter.

lol, here I go again. Finished part 4 and man it was long. But that was certainly a good thing. Now I see why you split it up over 5 days; reading all of those together in one sitting would be a little tiring. This one also had a ton of great information but the best part I think was about the guilds. From what it sounds like they have spent alot of time thinking about how the guilds are going to work and how they will interact with the game. The other interesting part was how the guilds gained prestige and grew in levels. I'm really looking forward to seeing what kind of new content opens when you are within a very active guild.

It's one section a day for 5 days.

A quest only ends in victory or failure. There is still time yet.
And some "quests" are doomed to fail from the start. Kinda like yours. Either way, why are you doing a "quest" for a game that you said you "despise"?
