I know many people don't hold blogs to the same journalistic standards as other forms of media, but Massively is particularly egregious in its terribly poor reporting.
The most recent example is its post on Final Fantasy XI's mentoring system. It's inaccurate about Conan's version (players level down, not up), doesn't mention City of Heroes' sidekick system -the original innovator - and doesn't even mention FFXI's own previous mentoring system (you had to wear a special hat).
It's like the writer doesn't even play the game he's reporting on. And this post about Tabula Rasa's AFK graphic. The writer doesn't even know they exist and they still continue to cover the game.
What about Michael Zenke's post on how Star Wars Galaxies players left because of bugs, not New Game Enhancements? Seriously, do their writers actually play the games they cover? The same writer also wrote a controversial piece about NCsoft Austin being shut down and that Tabula Rasa development going to Arena.net (the guys behind Guild Wars).
Just because you're a blog doesn't mean you should forgo accuracy in favor of timeliness. Look at PC Gamer: they published a widely criticized review of Hellgate: London, which had absolutely no mention of the game's multiplayer component, and was probably an earlier version than what hit retail.
What do you guys think about Massively?

I don't like that site much either, it seems to me they are one of the places that writes good reviews for cash. You never hear anything bad about any game no matter how bug ridden or crappy it is, they seem to be especially loving of AOC of late.
I gave up on it when the SWG comment was made some-time back.
Trade in material assumptions for spiritual facts and make permanent progress.
Hopefully, Funcom paid them in stocks.
Winterfresh what do you think about the Sci-Fi Channels version called Fidgit, www.fidgit.com ? I been reading this a lot lately since Massively decided it was going to start posting rumors instead of waiting to get the real info.
I saw the site watching an episode of Ghost Hunters I think.
