Character names

  Does anyone know if names will be able to be in a "first last" format or will it be restricted to one word names?

During character creation, you only get your first name. Later as you level, you can add a last name. Same as DAOC is/was.

you can purchase a last name from a vendor in the capitol cities

I read somewhere that you could get a second/last name at level 20 from a vendor in the capital city.  I'm not sure the information came from an official source.

Thats just a extreamly wierd system...what is the benifit over directly choising a last name?

When you guys say 'buy', you mean you purchase the option to put your 'name of choice' for the last name right?

I think in the terms of the game they are going for true sir name as being awarded. Such as  TrollSlayer Hammerfist, Doomcrusher, Dwarfsbane. etc.  I have not seen if they will add any kind of buff or just for fun.
