I have but I am happy I did and even looked for it. I cussed out a AM on the forums in a game and told him to please ban me followed by a bunch of reasons why I knew he was trying to BS the community with the so called updates which was rarely what anyone in the game wanted.
I hated Sword of the new world
I hated the community who ate up everything the AMs told them and then begged for more BS.
Some of the people in that game I do miss but Im glad I got banned from such a horrible Korean Grind fest.

lol no, i dont use 3rd party programs unless they are legal UI Addons, i was doin the other no-no. Which is surprising, they'll ban accounts wich buy the stuff but they wont ban the accounts botting and distributing the stuff .... I went to dwarven village one night and there had to be 2 dozen players with no gear on, selling adena. I wonder where their bans are ..... but i guess there really is no excuse for me to not have gotten a ban, i just thought perma banning me, my brother, and my sister's account for one offense in the last 16 months was a bit harsh.
EDIT: lol and surprisingly enough i got banned the day i won the drawing for blizzcon tickets, i guess thats why i really wasnt sad about my account.
Thats unfortunate tvslentine, you took your chance. Everyone thinks L2 is a free for all of cheating. Botting and RMT are a crap shoot in any MMO.
Nope, never got banned in an MMO. My theory is if you need to resort to anything that is bannable the game isn't worth playing for that player. They are not enjoying something about the game.
Don't support gold farmers in your next game please. I'm playing the DDO trial right now and the amount of gold spam I get is pathetic. I don't think the community does jack sh*t about it.
temp ban on WoW for selling gold. that was reversed quickly once they realised i only ever owned less than 2g (i was lvl 50 at the time) and did not play enough to grind out hundreds of gold to sell.
i got banned from Runescape after flaming the game (i was like 12 at the time).
MMO wish list:
-Changeable worlds -Solid non level based game -Sharks with lasers attached to their heads
Yeah, i got permanently banned from WOW for using 3rd party addons, i was infact addon called "fishing buddy" and i guess i looked like a bot when i used it ingame, but it was me in control all the time, didnt get any warnings either, just the perma bann
Did try to email them about the bann, but all i got back was a computer generated answer saying that i have used a 3rd party illegal addon, bla bla Eula bla bla , therefor banned
Oh well started a new account, used that ever since...
