UK HMV CE Pre-Order Box

Quick few questions to anyone else in a similar situation

I bought the CE Pre-order box from HMV about 2-3 months ago, but no one took my name to reserve the CE box. i assumed that 'pre-order' box was just that, i had pre-ordered the CE by spending £9.99

noticing some other posts on the subject, some people said they had given their details. so i popped into HMV yesterday to give them my name. They originally put me down for the SE box, i had to point out that this was a CE pre-order box. So he put my name down for that, stating that there was no guarantee i'd get it.

I believe HMV staff dont quite know what they are doing, i have been told the following...

1. Having the CE Pre-order box at 9.99 doesnt guarantee me the CE edition

2. If i do get the CE box, this box is a seperate purchase and i will not be getting the 9.99 off that i had already paid on the CE pre-order box.

 

Does anyone know, or can help with what they have been told by HMV, can anyone also help provide an HMV head office email address that i could contact them on (cant find it on the web site - seems only for online orders), as i fear that on the day of release, i will end up in an argument with the shop assistant, and not get a CE box at all.

Funny you should mention this my friend phone me at work last tuesday to say get ur butt down to HMV they got 3 Pre_order boxes in stock the OP keys and said he reserved me one under my name.

I didnt manage to get there till thursday just gone and when i stated my friend reserved me a box they said fine we go get  it they know where they are cause theyve not been put on the shelfs, when he came back , he said the manager said i wasnt allowed it and the one issued to my friend shoudl never have happened and they need to send them back.

 

SO who knows but thats what happened.
