Magus mount???

Ok from what ive seen in the beta the magus can never get off of his floating disc, so what did they do for the mounts? is it just a really fast disc or does the magus actually get a chaos horse?

Pretty sure Magi get a faster, cooler-looking disc, I never saw one on a horse in any pics or vids.
I played a Magus for a while in beta and he does get a disc mount. In all honesty it was hard to see the difference when they were standing still and it was only when you saw the Magus moving you could tell he was on his mount disc.
The Dwarf mount is easily the best looking.
The most poorly designed class in mmo history if you ask me ( in terms of balance) and it gets old incredibly fast being stuck on a disc... I wouldn't touch this class if they payed me, and I am a guy who usually rolls the under-dogs at game launch... this one is just asking for pain until patch fixes. It's SO SLOW, sluggish, casting takes forever for the benefits. Why spend 4 seconds on a damage over time spell that does 20% of what a sorcerer or bright wizard can do.
Makes no sense, class needs major major major work.
Person above me = wrong on the picture, that is the 31+ disc (it upgrades as ya lvl). I also have to disagree with above on some degree. The magus does certainly have a role, but yes it needs fixing. The disc is on personal issues, i love the disc, its different and makes since lore wise. While the class needs some either dmg increase or survivability, the point of the class is while you dont do as much dmg, you create a little base camp and you do some more and you arnt as squishy as a bright wizard.
well you seem to be missing the entire point of the class, it isn't a pure DPS class, its an offensive support class, it mirrors the engineer.
of course, mythic has admitted that the engineer and magus need a lot of work, but what you seem to expect out of it is a nuker, when it isn't. the magus works with its turrets (demons) and fun spells that mess with the other side, and gives up pure damage to be a more useful team player.
And I don't see how being on a disk gets old, its like being on foot all the time, just adds a bit of flavor to the class, makes it different.

the magus gets a 30 gold speed buff for the disc at 20 instead of riding something else, the magus indeed is always upon his disc, during death/showing/sex you name it mark said your magus will enver be off his disc
You cannot ever get off your disc, in fact you die on it.
No mount, get over it. If you like this class you understand it.
IMO they need a buff along with the engineer.
You do get a mount. It's another disc, but it is a seperate mount.

I'm going to play as a Squig herder and what do they get? I'm assuming a new squig that i can ride on (or inside 0.o)
EDIT: Is it just me or do Magus look kick ass for a Magic user? None of this fancy robe crap.
Squig Herders get a wolf iirc...or thats the shaman.
Is there a thread where people have posted screenies of all the different mount types in the game? It occurs to me that I haven't really seen most of them yet.
