EQ2 Part1 is GREAT!!!

Thanks alot! Cant wait to read these daily. My god after reading the interview my thoughts on EQ2 are sealed and my WoW dreams are crushed. (been in beta anyway and nothing great about it for me) Being a MMORPG Vet I got bored of WoW even in beta pretty fast. Nothing new to keep me but its not just WoW its also DAOC, AO and others. After this read im sure EQ2 will be the game for me. The AI sounds good and fun.

Unlike some betas im in  Having monsters flee if leader is dead and NPCs attacking your healer or protecting there just seems great.

Now I just need EQ2 so I can try on my new Jboots I got with pre-order

I always wanted to play EverQuest II, since the day I bought EverQuest: Ruins of Kunark in the year 2000 in fact. I said to my friend, wow this game is great, I can't wait to see EverQuest II. Since the day the game was announced I preached about how great this game will be. Some listen, some bring up World of Warcraft and how it will be much better. Well I am a World of Warcraft beta tester. World of Warcraft, in my opinion, is like EverQuest 1.2. Nothing more. It's not that great, more of the same.

After reading part 1 my thoughts of EverQuest II have only been reinforced. This game will be incredible! I will be there the day this game is released picking up my pre-order copy, no question about it. I wish I could thank each member of the development team. They are truely creating a masterpiece here. The combat is going to be on a whole new level of strategy, un-seen in any previous MMORPG. I'm so excited for the release of this game. My only hopes are that it won't be bug ridden. I'm confident in this team though, I don't know why, I just am.

I agree with you Vipermmx. My WoW view has been crushed. Its all EQ2 for me! Have never tried EQ but EQ2 sounds great!

I used to be a WoW fan. I read all the news updates and counted down the days to european beta. Now, thanks to EQ2 I have been in the clear for months now.

The more I read about EQ2, the more it seems like it will just dominate the MMORPG industry when stood next to the other latest games. They all have their pros, but EQ2 seems to have very few cons. With heroic oppertunities for a more interactive combat system, and an updated crafting system for more involvement and immersion, who couldn't love it?!

I just finished reading Part 1. Definitely read it, even if you aren't a fan of EQ2. It may well change your mind!

Yeah, I agree.. the first thing I do when I come into "work" in the morning, is log on to MMORG.com to read the next page.. great work.. yet another EQ2 vs WOW convert.
