How does closed beta and open beta work?

Was there a closed european and us closed beta or was everything one big beta? Do they have seperate websites to login and manage their accounts like https://accounts.eamythic.com/subscription/list ?

If you really pay attention to what you said you might actually have found your answer, instead of just posting oblivious.
Account management is prolly different, thats all I dont know. And you should know the rest yourself...
