End game RvR

Hello folks,

From reading some of the threads around here I gather it's pretty easy to hit  level 40, then spend most of your time in 'endgame' RvR.  I like to mix up my playstyle so I'm a bit concerned I'll get bored with the constant bloodshed and brutality of RvR. (Hard to believe i know)

So quick question, is there a lot of variety in 'endgame' RvR? Enough different objectives and places to see to keep a good soldier happy to be covered in bloodspray? Or am I going to be completing the same scenerio 10 billion times over and over?

There are many RvR zones, and more than one scenario you can participate in. The goal is to get to the opositions capital and siege it.

This is no easy task, and there is good description on warhammeronline.com you can watch.

Ther e is PvE and while I was told tier 4 is big, eventually you will know it all.  So, no, imho, there is not much to do more than RvR (actually, you will be able to RvR from lvl 1; you dont need to get to lvl 40 to get into the end game... the end game starts at lvl 1).

I know it's not the opinion you may had been waiting for but's its what I think.  If you believe you will get bored of RvR, then this may not be the game for you.

You can always play it until you actually get bored and then move to some other game :)  The process of getting bored may take you days or years.  You never know.  hehe

Ok, i think i can answer this...

Is not goign to be like WoW where you can only play 4 different BG's, WAR have definetely lots of RVR places, not sure how many, but at the beginning you can choose from 3 different scenarios the High Elf/Dark Elf scenario, Human/Chosen Scenario and Dwarf/Greenskin scenario  and each scenario is unique, thats what I experienced in Tier 1, I'm assuming that each Tier have 3 different scenarios, because when I hit lvl 12 I could not join Tier 1 scenario but I was able to queue for Tier 2 scenario, so that make a Total of 12 scenarios, plus Keep sieges, World RVR, City Sieges, besides that theres PQ's, Dungeons (I hope), it will keep you busy until the next expansion IMO.

I'm kind of nervous of this too... but we'll just have to wait and see what it's like at "end game." I think the important thing to do is just enjoy the ride :).

In the higher Tiers, there's more than one scenerio for reach pairing.  Also, given that you'll need to conquer two pairings to advance to the capitol, I think there'll be plenty of fighting all over the place and not just in the Empire/Chaos areas.

Once you take over an enemy's capitol you have access to their dungeons and city PQs, so I think a lot more people will be interested in taking objectives and keeps.  Plus you get to kill their leader for some goodies too :)  Once people don't have an impending character wipe coming, the fighting will get nice and fierce in lots of areas.

from what they promise they will be lots of stuff like, secret lairs you have to explore to find, senarios, PQ's, city sieges which inturn give you even more PQ's and doungens and ect stuff to do, also open world RvR plus tier 4 is ever changing so it will stay fresh because at any given day the front line could have moved unlocking less or more things to do so yah plus there is 20 classes so you can always roll an alt and supposivly are hidden quests that you can only do at certain times of the day that can get you into secret cool areas that no one can get into unless they are on the quest or have done the quest (kind of like how age of conan wouldnt let you into certain areas its the same concept except without zoning and you can access it after the quest is over also.

so basicaly there will more stuff ingame then most every game on the market

or it might be like Work, samething every single day... until that one day comes, an Massive car accident right infront of your office or an unhappy employee beating the hell out of your boss that kind of day that will mark you for life.
