I have never said that nothing has been fixed.
I have on the other hand pointed out that no new content has been added and that the game is still the same. Same as in the developers using the exact same methods of fooling ppl as they did on day one.
Not a word about no fixes. I can tell you that they fixed the missing boy 73 days after I reported it "missing" It was fixed yes... The effort was mesured in less than 5 mins of fixing and it took 73 days.
don't get me wrong...i hate funcoms lies...i wanted to siege from day one. i should have been able to. its a bit late, but it is nice to be able to get up on a wall now and rain down death and it actually have a point

yeah....about that stat thing...i took off all my rangers armor the other night and did a naked clear of the first villa. the damage is all from the skills it seems. (i died a bit more often than usual...but the fact that i full cleared it naked means armor needs a massive overhaul) this was done with epics removed actually, since i put all my gemmed gear in the bank due to the upcoming nerf.

As far as i know, that was fixed a while ago. Stats do mean something, just not the huge increases as in other games. If that’s an issue for you, then I suppose you just don’t like the system, it does not mean it’s broken. But no, they are not broken AFAIK. They fixed that quite a while before I canceled.
Wasnt a issue was just wondering. My issue with AoC was when i hit level 45ish then into 50ish there was not a quest to find. And I'm sorry the combat system is fun but it isn't fun when you are grinding. Wasn't my cup of tea when I was forced to grind.

your posts do seem to have a certain quality to them that makes it seem like a challenge most of the time. maybe some sentence restructuring or some less direct statements if you don't wanna be flamed? i dunno. i admit i jumped the gun this morning since at first glance did somehow seem like an argument lol. on a more serious note...MMOs tend to have a nice hardcore crowd of people that drool over stats and whatnot....i always made fun of it when i was playing other MMOs, but WoW got me caught up in it and i ended up playing that damned game for 3 years. i look at an MMO as something that can be a hobby of sorts...so yes, i do read alot into it. i like the concept of AOC, but not the direction its currently going in. i just haven't completely given up on this little bugger yet

Well, in your defense, link 3 I would consider an improvement. Links 1 and 2 I find invalid (Especially #2).
Look, the whole patching to improve has been done before. Just look at Vanguard. Those guys are still fixing stuff from launch. At this point, I don't think any differently about AoC. Even more with already an expansion announced.
By all means, stick with it. Tell the rest of us how much it has improved. I am not buying your bull. I made that mistake with Vanguard (over and over and over) and I'm sick of it. The fact that they didn't come through with the stuff they said they would include (and that AFTER buying the damn box) should have been an awesome hint. It sure was for me.
But hey, who knows, maybe in a couple of months they'lle have made AoC a great MMO, with numerous things to do, awesome PvP, etc.. I would play it then. But now? No freakin way.

As I said in the post about the patch being delayed. This is an obvious PR tactic from funcom to try to stop the people from leaving for WAR just yet and to get another month of subs from some. Wow, congratulate Mr Obvious! What is wrong from trying to make your product work? Isn't that the whole point! I agree with the origional poster. Do not resub/buy this game. It is not worth it. The population is on a downward spiral and you will hate yourself for trying/buying/resubbing to AOC. Personal preferance, and the more you keep posting and making yourself look a fool, the more people will want to disagree with you....Ahhh or is that your tactic, you realy do love the game so you are trying some reverse psychology, nice thinking
You're right; that is the idea. They want to make the game better. Problem is they don't deliver. During the process of not delivering they lie about it and treat paying customers badly. This should have been here at release it wasn't and now they say it will be here in a week and it won't.
When I say not to buy the guy or resub to it. That is a personal preferance and im sharing it with others.

who are you to question my lvl of nerdiness? MMOs are serious business
on a more serious note...MMOs tend to have a nice hardcore crowd of people that drool over stats and whatnot....i always made fun of it when i was playing other MMOs, but WoW got me caught up in it and i ended up playing that damned game for 3 years. i look at an MMO as something that can be a hobby of sorts...so yes, i do read alot into it. i like the concept of AOC, but not the direction its currently going in. i just haven't completely given up on this little bugger yet
I wouldn't touch AoC with a ten foot pole these days... apparently stock investors agree.

They have listened, they are addressing the issues. The haters are the ones that need to get over it, really, it’s a game.

Well, in your defense, link 3 I would consider an improvement. Links 1 and 2 I find invalid (Especially #2).
Look, the whole patching to improve has been done before. Just look at Vanguard. Those guys are still fixing stuff from launch. At this point, I don't think any differently about AoC. Even more with already an expansion announced.
By all means, stick with it. Tell the rest of us how much it has improved. I am not buying your bull. I made that mistake with Vanguard (over and over and over) and I'm sick of it. The fact that they didn't come through with the stuff they said they would include (and that AFTER buying the damn box) should have been an awesome hint. It sure was for me.
But hey, who knows, maybe in a couple of months they'lle have made AoC a great MMO, with numerous things to do, awesome PvP, etc.. I would play it then. But now? No freakin way.

i havent seen anything from aoc yet, where do i need to look, i dont spend 8 hours a day on these sites/forums mayb thats why im missing it..

Hope you see my point. Funcom posted pictures and stats on items before the game went life. Still they were all broken.
Oh now Funcom is claiming they are actually testing stuff ? That would be improvement - but its still untrue. Its exactly the same game.
You're right; that is the idea. They want to make the game better. Problem is they don't deliver. During the process of not delivering they lie about it and treat paying customers badly. This should have been here at release it wasn't and now they say it will be here in a week and it won't.
When I say not to buy the guy or resub to it. That is a personal preferance and im sharing it with others.
