ok so you "conservatives" think that a former mayor of a small town and governor of 2 years in a state with a population of @600k is more qualified than either obama or biden? you are willing to put aside your "conservative" values and honestly believe that her 17 year old daughter isn't beign forced to marry the 16 year old boy who got her pegnant? You look forward to her speech becuase you want to belive she is samrt... and she may well be an elloquent speaker. But someone else wrote the speech for her. She is just a last minute pretty face female to sway hillary supporters. Look at what lieberman is saying... tryign to get democrats to switch party lines. GW Bush isnt even going near the convention. McCain wants to stay in Iraq for how long? was it 100 years? oh wait, sorry, he cut it down to 8 years... This will be a lackluster speech to be sure. I heard her speak when she accepted her nomination, and she sounds exactly like she looks (which isn't a good thing). The RNC doesn't have an answer to the DNC, and is generating only a fraction of the excitement. Her speech will point out her inadequacies as a VP candidate, and if she doesn't withdraw before, Biden will eat her alive in debates.
The RNC has no answers, and is only creating more questions. Campaigning with Bush is political suicide, and Palin will fold under the pressure. She will withdraw from the ticket within a month citing "family reasons", and McCain's ticket will vaporize, if it hasn't already.
The Obama camp extended an open invite to his acceptance speech in Denver, that says a lot to me. The last thing we need is a psycho pro-lifer from a far removed state to be on any ticket. Social conservatives are dying a slow death, hopefully Palin's fall from grace will accelerate this attrition.

She's going to be Vice President. Obama has about as much experience and he's running for President. Talk about your pots calling kettles black, mm? Or what about Nanci Pelosi...your liberal god at the congressional speaker post. She doesn't have a whole lot of experience either. Heh...funny when the libs see a conservative with little xp, they lift up their pork bellies and make a scene but if the libs get into a high office with little experience they call it "a victorious dream coming to life."
Yeah, I agree with Leberman too. If the democrates option for president is a left winged communist wannabe then democrates seriously need to re analyze themselves. Democrates need to wake up if they ever want to win back the presidency.
But its ok. I actually feel sorry for the libs. They just aren't the smartest kids on the block when it comes to picking people for president.

I say rock on! Demo's may not like the idea initially, but it will go a long way in the end. A person like Palin who is so outwardly against sex education in schools and for abstinence will be (actually already has) making a prime example of why this is not such a good thing.

Is it me or did the main speakers last night seem aggressive? I thought it was awesome, if I have any complaint about the Republicans, its that they're on the defensive too much.

I don't think that we could find credits for any politicians speeches. Obama however, is a writer. Now, I'm not saying that Palin's speech is not written by her on the fact that she is not a writer. I will say that she did not write it on the basis that I heard a quote from the McCain Campaign saying that they rewrote the VP acceptance speech for a woman.
