Hello all,
It's close to that time for all of us. The time when head start... well... starts. I can say i'm fairly excited. I would however like to prepare a tad by finding a server to go to prior to release. I never like switching servers mid game having found out i picked an awfull one. Has anyone heard any rumors or ideas about which server will be unnofficial RP or the server in which all the Lore lovers are going to? Thats the crowd i usual enjoy my time with as i am both.

This might have changed since I last did some reading, but I think there are actually going to be official RP servers in Warhammer. I hope that is still the case, because like you I enjoy the RP crowd.

oh my... i love you... if thats the case i'm more excited than previous. However what will be the biggest one you reckon? The one with the MOST lore fans such as myself?
i hope that they will take actions against people who break the rp policies.

Im with you guys i would like to see a rp server and normaly i would blindly go to one but I just experienced the Aquilonia RP server from AoC....and i have to say the community on their was utterly rude and abusive Im just hoping it wont be more of the same. Everytime someone asked for help in chat they would get sarcastic replies or abuse or called noobs, or told to go to another server or go back to wow. If this is now the rp community we are to expect i see little difference between a normal server and rp...so either way im not fussed which is a shame as i am an avid rper for over 20 years now in all formats and wanted the same for my old fav game of Warhammer (before Wotc got greedy and brought the fantasy rights:).
The only way you can get a mature community is make the game not fun.
They absolutely have to if it isn't to become a farce
Really RP Realms need dedicated GMs to slap players hard when the infringe the RP protocols.
GMs have to be empowered to remove people from RP realms for repeated offenses and overall have a far stricter approach to policing.
I doubt this will happen though and these RP realms will go the same way as many others.
So many people roll on an RP realm and then are too embarrassed, creatively retarded or otherwise unwilling to contribute. Pretty sad really when people havent got enough imagination to think up a simple storyline and role play a simple character.
So, how will people roleplay Chaos. I plan on doing alot of drugs and talking all crazy......"Wazzit, hobo ljshfldjflkjdlkjflkdj"

You cant crazy all the time - an army has to be organised and you are not going to be great company if thats all you say.
No different RP Chaos as Destruction- people think you have to come up with a whole new language and an ellaborate life story . You dont. Say what you want but try and kee pit in the context of the age the game is set.
That's a lie...EVE has a very immature community.
