patcher question

all right as a few have posted be for but i have yet to find anyone saying how to get the patch to patch the files i know i wont be able to log in game but i should aleast get the file s for patching right  i have a active open beta key even say so in account manedgement         plz somebody tell me how to get patcher to patch after in put in account and password the patch just shut down when it looks like its going to start

From the way the question is commonly answered, I guess that it usually patches it properly, but you can't access the login server. So maybe our beta clients are already patched and we just need to wait until they open the servers?
