Engineer Turret Question

Rolled an Engineer and a witch hunter during PW and found the engineer to be relatively weak. I enjoyed the character and would like to know from you higher ups who were able to get to a high level if the engineer can deploy more than one turret at a time?

I've never had an engineer. However from being higher up, I'm going to go ahead and say no, you can only have 1 pet out at a time. Turret is a pet
The class is VERY powerful if played correctly. It's a defensive character, not meant to assault or charge. If you do that without a turret set up, you'll just get rolled over and over.

The "Pet" classes got buffed. Their pets can no longer be ignored like they once were. I really am hating squig herders at the moment.
Can teh squig herder be half eaten by the squig and run around like in the video?
I actually do believe there will be Squig tanks! Probably a higher level ability though.
Edit: To the OP, both the Magus and Engineer are being tweaked to increase DPS. Don't go with the impression that their state now is final.
Well i suppose if they're being re-worked then they'll deal with the problem either more turrets deployed or more damage. Thanks for the replies.
Yes , i saw a big squid today folowed big a little one hehe .
The firebomb that is new gives them a huge boost for melee range since it can be used at point blank.
Yup, it's a skill call squiq armor. They call a squid, it grows and eats them, then they become melee chars for a while. And they get other skills later on to use when in this form. It's very funny.
hmm... speaking of engineers, for some reason they can shot me thru wall, I am assuming this is a bug or are they hearing my steps ? (CS joke).
to the guy shot thru wall, probably lag, if you lose line of site mid ability you cant hit, but if they fired it you got behind wall in lag then itll still hit ya, turret also seems to have pretty good tracking in that regaurd.
yes my herder gets to ride in a huge squig at level 9, best ability EVER hehe, cant wait for all the fun attacks for doing while that way, hes tough as a black ork with a 2 hander in that form and twice as ugly!
