It's probably the same server doing all the account related stuff. Because it was being spammed by users creating accounts, it couldn't send out emails to those that we lucky enough to get through. That's why they've taken it down. As soon as all the emails, etc have cleared - they will open it up again...

I think you all fail to realise, it's sunday..It's almsot 8:00 in france fair enough. But you think Blizzard has no employees working on sundays? For the big MMORPGS they have people sat at the servers 24/7. They don't leave at 5:30 every evening and think fuck it, if server goes down at 8:00 it can wait untill tomorrow at 9:00 am.

that would be game over for me i would do a charge back on my card as i ordered through D2D so the funds are gone already.
i wouldnt even bother with WAR as a filler till Aion I can handle crashes bugs bad stability fooked registration what i hate is no interaction with the customer and worse still then not listening to them.

And also you'd like to think say for example a pipe bursts in a company running servers that people are paying for on a sunday. It's threatning to ruin everything and destroy their company. You think they wouldn't have people there watching the servers 24 hours a day? If you think they wouldn't you're naive. It's exactly the same with MMORPGS.
