Hi. I just got my buddy key code but when I try to make the "free" account for it, it wants my credit card info or a time card even though at the top it says free of charge. Does anyone know what to do? And I do have the game disks.
p.s. I have seen on these forums that no really likes the game, but I'm stil curious about it and I know curiousity killed the cat but cats have 9 lives.

You have no choice but to enter some kind of payment info to use the "free" trial.
Do yourself and your bank account a favor and don't bother.
Put your CC info in and get it set up then immediatley remove the CC info in your account settings, Funcom loves to charge early for subscriptions.
Dont waste your money on a game card odds are you will quit within the first month, but make sure you cancel more than a week early or they will charge you a month.
You can enter your cc info. It will not be charged the moment you do.
But the others are right, if you do not want to continue playing then you should remove the cc info as quick as possible again.
If you do like the game, and want to continue playing, then I would advice you to subscribe for 1 month periods. Don't go for 3 or 6 months. Chances are you will get bored quickly.
