The FAQ that was posted on the overview page for this game seems to be a bit out of date.

 

How about system requirements?  The alpha engine runs on a PIII 800mzh, with 256mb RAM and a Gforce 2 card. Obviously the retail version will be optimized alot, but this is a very demanding game. We are just not sure what system we should recommend just yet. Minimum internet connection? It should work with a 56k modem, but we obviously recommend DSL or Cable :)

 

Those specs and then saying it's demanding? From what year is this?

Perhaps it's time to write something new there, now that DF is in the spotlight a bit more.

    My beef is with that banner at the top there with the crappy picture....it really does not show this game in its best light...please update it with something with a bit more omph...there are plenty to choose from that can attempt to give a better overview.

    heh yea you wont find any fans makin excuses for their website.  it needs an update and the explanation (not excuse) is that they just havent had the manpower to spare to upkeep it.

    but they are making a lot of changes to the website over the last week or two, so i would expect it to be completely changed for the better when it comes close to release.

     Yup, not even applicable to DF, as the engine that made that was scrapped -completely- years ago when aventurine took over
