But a Maine Coon house cat wouldn't be bad either.  They're those massive up to 30lbs monsters you sometimes see.

Exotic birds. They have a personality of a 3yr old and are smart and copy you. They are loyal and will bond with you, they talk way to much though lol.

I'd go for DOGS. Whatever happens, they will always remain loyal and faitful to their masters. That's why it's safe to say that they are really the man's bestfriend.

I like ferrets we had some when I was a kid.   They're like kittens all their lives(IE cats that love to play) and like to hide stuff(pull snow boots that wiegh as much as they do under the couch).

 

As for dogs ten thousand plus years of forced breeding and inbreeding along with a natural disposition for following a pecking order will end up making something that is incredably loyal to you.   2 boxers by the way brindles with white feet.

Any animal that is owned by anyone else in the world other than me.

If I had to choose one I would pick dogs since they don't smell too bad and can be trained into being a house slave (fetching slippers etc).

Mine is BIG Dog  LOL  i think big dogs are safe and so strong for me to lay on them   i like taking a walk with my Prince (a Samoyed, nearly 10 months. however, he is quite strong ^-^)

We have dogs inside our house and cats outside. They don't pretty much get along with each other. I guess it's just natural.

Anyway, I prefer a dog.

i like dogs very much... i think they are cute and loyal. however..my mom dowsn't allow me to get one in our house..she thinks it's troublesome lol
