Should we get another 14 days free? (beta subscribers)

Maybe they should give each EU player a round trip plane ticket to the u.s. along with a place to stay. That way you can join us.

I was stating that characters will be wiped anyways, so what does it matter. Stop your whining.

We wont get anything, although they let us down really they haven't done anything illegal. they will probly ensure that we get atleast one day of beta (to atleast avoid getting sued) and then rely on the fact that beta had no stated duration on the resellers sites (D2D/EA).

Mythic doesn't care if people quit because they know from experience that most of them will just migrate to NA servers.

The EU game will release with endless bugs because of the short beta, GOA will make their grave and then france telecom will decide to pull out of the mmo industry.

Open Beta is ...A Beta...your chars get wiped, the game is usually only in a semi or more than semi launchable state.  You are there to Test.  Yes you get to enjoy the thrills of the game before live and decide if you wish to keep your pre order but to get some 14 extra days free for a snafu...seriously ...thats just lauhghable.

So IF in two days time, it is still not up, what are we testing?

Am I concerned about char. wipe, no.  Am I trying to get in to test, YES.  Would 14 days make the community happier?  Who knows.  What do you suggest?

 

I think you guys seriously need to stop crying over spilled milk.  No one disagrees that GOA is a bunch of incompentent asstards.  14 Free DAys is unreasonable period for missing out on Beta.  I dont care if you damn paid for beta or if you had to go whack someone off for the damn key.   Your not entitled to Open Beta just because EU wacked out law says you techincally paid for it doesn't make you entitled to anything.  There are tons of people in the EU beta who didn't pay a damn dime should they be given free 14 days too? Honestly how do you track who deserves 14 free days when ALOT of OB people are there for the free week then disappear long before Launch anyway.  

If you hate it that much tehn tell GOA to suck your balls return the game and find a retailer that'll sell you a US copy. Or hell find a US Beta Key waste some MORE time bitching about having to redownload and get your precious beta.

These guys who got free keys or bought 6.00 keys and what not, shouldn't be allowed in retail unless ordered or preordered.

Those people who responded, thanks for info.  So the community is against a "free" period for EU players who subsrcibed for beta. 

So the expectation is EAMythic/GOA fix it, we carry on, the game launches and everyone is happy.

You see behind all that flaming, you answered my question in your own little way

Anyway, that's why I'm waiting on the 18 to get the game.  Beta = problem

To the OP, I`m sorry you got scrued. But your issue is with access to beta. You want to have 14 days of beta fine, but not the live game. Not to mention your issue is with HMV. Someone needs to stop these retailers from selling the pre order boxs for more money. It`s thier fault not mythyc or ea so sorry imo take it up with them get you money back.
