That's the best way I can describe it, I use the term polished loosely it could still use some patches to fix a few minor bugs, but the storyline is better, the races and RvR automatically makes it better, and the open public quests are great, you don't have to recruit someone to play a quest you simply walk on the map and bam are automatically part of the quest, the top quest contibutors get a prize after a randomly generated roll giving the most a better chance but those that can't kill 100 monsters in 10 minutes can be lotto'd to 1st place, the tome of knowledge is cool, it records everything you do and see (every specific monter killed, every action taken, every death, etc etc etc), and you can choose titles, most wasteful if you throw a lot of stuff away, the pirate if you loot a lot, strategic crusher, etc etc, tons of titles, many ways to get exp, overall, I've played the game for about 10 hours so far, and I'm only at chapter 3 so I haven't really met with RvR pVp yet, but the quests are fun, and fully open mmorpg up to at least where I'm at, I know some parts are instanced but I haven't seen any yet, I like the gold system, so far I've only found about 2 gold pieces, which is a lot in the game, it's gold system is like guildwars sort of, 100 silver is 1 gold, 100 copper is 1 silver. I'm having fun so far, I don't know if it defeats wow as I've only played wow for 5 minutes, but I've played guildwars since it came out and I'd say it's much funner than guildwars, the multi-race rvr option alone, the storyline alone gives you a more reason to want to fight, and the settings and graphics are better, so I say it beats guildwars hands down, can't say for wow, but I do like the story so far, and the map, and how the game functions is really good, you have to complete quests to really level fast, and people that hate quests should not play RPG games. Sorry had to make a new thread but that 'war failed' thread only purpetuates a skewed perspective. 70,000 pre-order collectors editions SOLD OUT over a week ago, do the math, that NEVER happens, 1million give or take in open beta, this game is gonna be huge, now the 15 bucks a month factor will factor against it when it comes to guildwars fans because GW is not p2p, but the way I look at it, the 15 bucks is a buffer, which keeps a lot of 12 year old douche bags out of the game, so far I've noticed a good 90% of players have ROLEPLAY themed names, that's pretty rare, I'm used to k3wld000ds crapping up games, hopefully this game is full of great epic pvp and some decent roleplay on the side, I know everytime I rvr someone I'm gonna roleplay, you start the game on the battlefield, and are given a sense of urgency, not a fairy land where you have the option of fighting, this is a FIGHTING game.

I liked warhammer a bit, it was fun to play with my friends and they have talked me into playing it. The game has so many flaws though mostly because it has way to much instant gratification. Grinding is simple, gear is easy to get, and the game is just really easy to play. Anyone who can keep in mind more then 30 spells and hotkeys plus use them at the right time will have this game down to a T. It's nothing new, it's the same things we've seen since everquest hit the market.
I wish my friends didn't like this, because giving mythic 50 bucks plus a monthly fee when they didn't earn it makes me feel like an asshole to the mmo market.

Fixed, somewhat. I wanted to make more paragraphs out of it but the first and third paragraphs above are all one sentence. On topic, I'm going to wait for some kind of demo before I consider the game. Some of the features sound very positive but I'm going to have to see it all in action first.
