Beta Fails to open... can't find "d3dx9_34.dll"

"This application has failed to start because d3dx9_34.dll was not found."

Got this message after finally gaining beta access and downloading the patch when trying to open the game.  Anyone know what it means and what I should do?

Try to google for that file, download it and put it in your WAR folder. Had a similar problem with Oblivion and this solved it.

    Hope it helps.

I fixed it by reinstalling directX from a mass effect dvd.

http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dll-files.shtml?d3dx9_34, Promise it's alright...you probably have to extract it to your system32 folder as well.
