So playing a game for 15 minutes and personally not liking it = "biggest failure".

    That's rational.

I knew before I logged in that it was a WoW clone (and I hate WoW), but since it's warhammer... you know.. I had to try it.

You went into the game with your mind already made up that it was a WoW clone, a game that you hate.

So, you'd already come to your conclusion about the game, went in expecting to not like it and were simply looking for things to support that conclusion.

Yes, I'd say that is rather closed-minded.

If you'd gone in with an open mind, you'd have left any thoughts of "WoW" at the door, played the game, checked out its features, gameplay, overall "feel", etc... as the game Mythic designed it to be, not the game you assumed it to be... that would be open-minded.

Just like LoTRO, once you get past the superficial elements of WAR that are common to most MMOs (because there are elements that are simply a staple of MMOs, just as there are for any given genre) I find it's actually very different than WoW. I say this having played WoW (and I can't stand it either).

Personally, I think some people are way too hung-up on the whole "Is it a clone?" or "is it revolutionary?" thing, that they make it impossible for themselves to enjoy anything... because nothing is going to be that unique or that revolutionary. The key, it seems to me, is to find something you can enjoy for what it is... Not obsess over for what it isn't.
