What's this BS with Order capping Fortress in about 10 seconds after the match starts?

    Destruction run up the hill, see an Order player coming across the bridge then stop for some reason and wait to be pummeled at range.

     

    Also, the entire Destruction team quite often run to the Barracks and ALL OF THEM STOP!!!! Just keep running to the Fortress and let the stragglers cap.

     

    Oh you might want to try /sc and suggesting these things too. (This is genuine advice, I'm not trying to be a smart ass).

     

    The concept of fighting on the flag seems to be beyond so many players.

    That's not what I'm referring to. I run straight to the fort everytime and use Flee and there have been a few times where they could capture the fort before we could even see the flag. I'm not sure if it's a bug, an exploit, or a game mechanic I'm just not aware of.

    it used to be like that in open beta...but Mythic open up a route over the hill right above your barracks flag...just run straight up that and you get there the same time as the order.

    I haven't come across that myself and I've played both sides quite extensively.

     

    I suppose you should report it.

    there is a way for destruction to do the same.

    and you need the right buffs, paired with spamming flee.

    also i should add that your teammates running past the flags slows its capture time.

    theres a trick to everything, it just seems someone has masterd it before the masses.

    remember just about everyone in game now is a complete noob at tactics, wait for some decent guilds to amass, new tactics will be made and soon all these tricks will be posted everywhere.

    I did see that aswell from the Destruction side. Order had the fortress capped by the time we made it halfway up the hill..

    I didnt notice this.  Since the scenario was changed, we usually reach it at the same time (if, as someone said in this thread, people dont stop hehe).

    Please, report it (in the ESC menu you have the option).  It maybe a bug being exploited or something.

    EDIT: maybe the enemy had some classes with charge and that let them sprint all the way to the fortress.

    Another trick I've seen order do is get on the roofs on the shacks by the barracks flag. I still don't know how they get up there.

    Figures order would be using all the exploits first.

    hmm i see destruction up on those roofs, still haven figured that out yet...no biggie i can hit them from the gound anyway...

    Basically, who ever holds fort wins. Some people haven't figured this out yet.
