I am fed up with the whiners!

Yep open beta has been a total fiasco!

Yep GOA's top people have been incredibly condescending and patronising when addressing us.

Yep there are issues with gameplay etc.

. and the list goes on ad infinitum.

BUT ......... for heaven's sakes, the game isn't even actually launched yet ... so let's just try to use these forums to pass on useful information and support and not to whinge and whine and make everything seem so much darker than it really is.

I've spent a fortune getting Special Editions and Pre-Oreder boxes etc for myself and friend, so I've plenty of reason to be demanding and exacting in my expectations ...... but the game hasn't even actually launched yet.

So this is a plea for a bit more of the useful, supportive, friendly, funny posts and few less doom and gloom ones ... please?  Eh? Come on? Be nice? We're all in it together, let's not bring each other down.

If people is whinning they probably have their reasons. In the other hand, they should do it the constructive way.

There is one easy way to stop the whining: GOA has to give us what we paid for. I paid for Open Beta access, and as yet, I've not recieved it. Also, I haven't recieved any ETA of when things are going to be fixed and I'm going to get my Open Beta access.

So why should I not whine? I'm going to whine as much as I can until GOA gets their act together and fixes their problems. Or at least gives an ETA of when the problems are fixed, or even an explanation that they don't know and they can't give ETA. But so far I've only recieved information that their account management service is down. That's really not good enough when I've been trying to register now 4 days in row and I've already paid for my access.

just dropping by to say I totally loooove this game! I havnt really met any gameplay issues or any bugs at all except i managed to suddenly end up ontop of a flag in northwatch so no one could reach me.

I love the PQ system, the scenarios basicly everything about the game, alot of people whine about that the skill system aint new, but what the heck? what do you want to have? this system WORKS and it's easy to use as well. same as with cars, when you buy a new car would you want everything to change it's location just in order to call it NEW?! now thats just stupid

I managed to enter the beta monday morning at like 3AM or so, jumped through a 10 sec opening with the key validation so i've played mostly non stop since then  and totally enjoying the game I know tons of other people are as well, seems all the happy people got most of the servers "Full" and a few people whining about on the forums here. I rest my case

Actually OB has been very successful.  There are a lot more good reviews/feedback than there are negative.  If you remove the GOA complainers, and the trolls who have been here for months then you are left with very few negative reviews to stand against a ton of positive.  A lot of the positive still criticize the game, but the most important thing is they all still say they will buy it and play it because they have fun.  Whiners exist on forums.  People need attantion and it will always happen to MMO's around launch.  Remember WoW players can be very dramatic.  I think it is all the end game drama mixing in with middle and high school drama and then spilling out onto forums.

Think its everyones right to complain and whine, but funny part is that half of the whine / complain posts are actually ppl who defend games and can se no wrong in whatever happens, just whining / complaining on others. Those posts are just as annoying as all the cry me a river posts, dont help when geniuses adds to those posts with their cry me a river too post whining on others for whining, see the loop?

American/Oceanian players: You haven't had much problems and your Open Beta has been successfull so far. Majority of the ones whining are Europeans, we don't get servers run by Mythic, we get servers run by GOA and service run by GOA. And while their gameservers may have performed well, their account creation has been total fiasco. It's not that the game wouldn't be great and run great, I want to believe it is, that's why I'm still whining in here. To get GOA to also give some kind of service, like ETAs when they are experiencing technical problems.

Yes of course - but whine at GOA, it's a question of the right forum (excuse the pun).
