Graphics

Let's stop talking about them. Seriously, or lets at least stop trying these sad little attacks on the graphics. You have plenty of things to complain about (and this is mainly for the Trolls), but saying the graphics are "bad" or "outdated" is just plain retarded. I'm not going to say the graphics are "good," I'm just going to point out a few reasons why seeing this come up left and right is irritating.



1. For most of you complaining about graphics, you will post about it here and then go to the Darkfall forum and talk about how they don't matter.

2. For some others complaining about graphics, you will post about it here and then complain that you have to drop $1,000+ on a reliable gaming PC to play these games. You wouldn't have to do that if people stopped being graphics whores...people like you.

3. For a small amount of people complaining about graphics, you will post about it here after complaining that AoC runs like shit.

4. Most importantly, the graphics aren't even that important.

It's important to realize that there are plenty of other things that you can complain about in WAR. The WoW comparison comes to mind because, it's absolutely true. It's just that, whether you're trying to save people from themselves and the hype of this game or you're simply trolling, the anti-WAR graphic posts/replies are completely worthless for many reasons.

No, there will not be a miracle patch before release to make the graphics better (and I'm not just talking out of my ass on this one, it has been proven) but, that doesn't make your argument any more valid.

    So there is a very serious problem with ATI graphic cards because most of the graphics in the game are shown with artefacts/issues/no aa/shadow distortions/problems with displaying simple surfaces. Hmm very sorry to hear that :(  - to all ATI users you should stay playing pong - graphics dont matter so no worries guys - its a hell of a game and you canplay with your grandmother

    Wait now - so should I get a job or a new graphic card? How do you know I got an old graphic card? hell why do you care if I got a job? what do those things got in common? Are you in pain? Do voices in your head tell you to say those things?

     

    But ok Ill play along... Im sorry that you have dirty nails, plant a tree, and your RAM doesnt work- there ! All got sense now

Well I think you really need a doctor cose very soon the voices in your head wont let you go to the bathroom...or did it allready happen?That would explain the anxiety.

    I completely agree with the OP...

    Actually...

    I think the graphics are AWESOME...

    I don't know what YOU guys see when you play this, but it looks nothing like WoW to me.

    I played WoW for YEARS, and this looks SO MUCH BETTER.

    It's not even the same style.

    So what, you got elves and dwarves? Is that it?

    I'm led to believe most MMORPG players have no artistic sense or distinction about them.

    Oh well, at least I enjoy it. I enjoy it a lot!
