Hmm... I'm guessing you must be referring to the AoC forums? I'm not aware of anything like that happening in Eve's community really. Also notice you were on Bloodfin... You remember New Republic from there? I was in their EQ2 guild for a time :-p. Anyways... back on topic... Yeah, I can't help but shake my head at the knee-jerk reactions people will have to a game within only days of playing it. They've seen only a fraction of it, yet feel they've got the entire game nailed down. Mind you, this isn't regarding whether they like the game or not (since I know that's a similar, but different, debate that happens - the whole "how long must you play a game before you can credibly form an opinion of it" thing)... I'm referring to how people seem to forget that the entire game, every nuance and feature of it, isn't laid before their feet as soon as they start - nor even in the first 20-30 levels - and that most MMOs start off "slow" and "simple" and then build as you progress. Level 1 does not provide a snapshot of what it will be like at Level 10, 30, 50, etc...

Why yes I do remember NR, very old guild on B-fin. I was also in a long standing rebel guild, they were allies of ours during certain eras of the game..
