Want to form a guild

woody1974woody1974 Member Posts: 257

I have spent many years in mmo's being part of other peoples guilds. Some have been bad and some good. The time for me to form my own guild has finally came.I would love to start my own guild and I am currently looking for others that are also interested in doing so.

I want to form a Casual guild of mature people, mainly consisting of adults who come online to play games for pure enjoyment. Im 34, married and I have 2 great kids, who will always come before games. I want a guild where people can come and go as they please without being told when to be online. You don't have to be a full fledged hardcore player to enjoy any game, with that said goals can be accomplished with casual gameplay and every now and then for fun if members are up for it, we can assault a keep, have some fun RvR gameplay as well.

I want to form a guild that people can join for laughs, fun, to make a few new friends. My main focus is Family, Fun, Casual.

If you share the same values views I do please send a reply and let me know if you are interested in starting a guild with me and we can get together to discuss this further.

I've gone the same route as the OP in several games; starting my own "casual" guild and getting a close-knit group of people together.

The only problem is that a lot of people who initially see themselves as "casual" end up being a lot more hardcore (in terms of hours) than others. They inevitably get frustrated that other members aren't on as much to play with them, and eventually, they leave.

I do like the targeting of familiy-oriented players, as real life should always come first in my mind.

Best of luck in your endeavor!
