Just wanted to see what you all thought was the least played class. For me, I played a White Lion in beta and now open beta, and I STILL don't see many. In about 20 scenarios I have seen 1 or 2 of them in all. Why?
Melee DPS with a pet isn't easy. 1v1s and some scenarios treat us right, but everything else is either a tank-heal or ranged fest. Maximum damage is with the pet out, but the pet dies easily. No stuns also prevent us from killing stragglers effectively.
Even in open beta now, I rarely see any WLs even in the starter zone.
What do you think is the least played class, and why?

Squig herders, because although apparently they are fun, they are also bad. Real bad. Thats just what i'm hearing from some guildies tho.
The least played class of all time will end up being the Magus. He's lack luster at low levels, the spells aren't that great nor that powerful and many people don't seem to realize you have to use his pet like an Engineer's turret. High level though he's supposedly bad ass.
I can se the white lion too since he's not the typical pet class (close but there are some mid level differences). Personaly I love the white lion a well played one can tear someone apart.
You can't base RvR on a 1vs1 if you do you'll be borked no matter what class you pick. Melee DPS though pretty much own when they have the right people working with them.
I would definately not say White Lion. I see tons of them, especially in the PQs, even more than Swordsman.
I wouldn't consider any of the elven classes underplayed. They seem to be reasonably popular with a good split between them.
How about Dwarven Engineers?
Your guildies must suck at playing a class that isn't meant to solo in PvP...I always came out in the top 5 for kills as my squiggie...especially once you get the gas squig casters really hate him.
All the classes are balanced around group play if you play a low armored toon expect to die alot if you don't have friends watching your back. Plus standing back and letting the fray get started then running in to get the unsuspecting is a fantastic strategy for low armored range pet types like the squig herder lol.
I'd say Sorceress, I suppose, but White Lions don't seem to be very played either.

Squig herders work just fine so far, least played is undoubtably the Magus.
Here's a link to a scenario of me. I did pretty well

Sorry, I can't figure out how to link.
Now that I think about it, magus are very underplayed. Don't see many of them. Squigs and engineers are about even.
According to the Warhammer Alliance poll Witch Elves will be the least popular.

You wouldn't understand
I'm going to say the Dwarf Engineer.
Because Dwarfs are the least popular race of any game i've played.
I am going to say Squiq herder and Dwarf engineer.
I havent really played destruction very much, mostly order and dwarf classes. Really of all the tier 1 starting area's the dwarf one seems the most empty and dwarf engineers seem to be the least played. I tried one to lvl 3, wasn't really for me but I've read lots of complaints about them.
As for squiq herder I played one and had tons of fun in RvR scenario's with mine, played him to lvl 8, they are very very squishy, but with some creativity you can have some serious fun with them.
I would most definitly not consider white lions one of the least played classes, everytime I log on my high elf anymore there are tons of them running around, initially they were least played and then people started finding out how good they are, now I see tons.
