I'm asuming the beta client will open up to full game client with a new code to be input without another full download.
Any confirmation anywhere on this?

It has been stated multiple times by mythic that you will be able to patch the open beta client into retail client without the need of reinstall from game cds/dvds. You will have to upgrade your account with the retail code as well.
