Is there a better way?

A friend purchased a CE pre-order key for me, because I live off the coast of the U.S. in the Dominican Republic right now, so I didn't have access to it. I have the code already added to my account, and during beta had access to the "official download," which is apparently just a torrent with no seeds.

My ISP limits upload speed to 10KB/ps, and my download speed for torrents is generally awful. After leaving the torrent on for about 8-9 hours, it is almost 6% complete. My question is: is there a site hosting the game in parts? I don't care if it's 300 parts, so long as I can get a decent FTP download speed.

Otherwise, I might just not bother. I want to try the game, but if it's going to take a month after release for me to download it, then I'll just stick to something else.

You can download the game from Fileplanet, although its not going to be in parts last I checked. Otherwise, have someone mail you the CD.

Thanks for the response. I'm wary of Fileplanet, since if the download is interrupt for whatever reason, you generally have to wait in line and start the download all over again. I don't know if this has been changed since I last downloaded from there, but that's how it's been for me.

 

It also asks me for my pre-order key, which has already been added to my account through the beta center. I don't remember what it is; I'd have to look for it. Is there a way to skip the pre-order key check? In the meantime I guess I can start looking for it. I wish it was displayed in the beta center like my beta key(which apparently Fileplanet did not accept).
