what video card should i get

i need a good video card cause the one i have now is not supported i was thinking of getting a 128mb radeon 9600xt card for 160 but i dont know if thats the best deal or not and if its not what should i get im looking to spend about 180 on it

9600 XT is a good card but I would go with the 9800 pro which is alot better(256-bit). The 9800 pro is 193 dollars- check out www.newegg.com.

Yeah if youre getting a new card dont go below a radeon 9800 Pro... any lower and its kind of a waste of money.

i think im just gonna get the 9600 xt cause the 9800 pro is only 193 until 4 o'clock today and i cant order it right now.  but depending on what it goes up to i might be able to get it

I would get the 9800 pro. It will probaly only go up a few bucks, and its worth it over a 9600 xt. The MSI version of the 9800 pro is 195 dollars-http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=14-127-127&depa=0. Check out www.pricegrabber.com for more stores.

Yep the difference in price is not that much AND the improvements are more than worth it.. should go with 9800 pro
